Michael Schmid studied computer science at Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences and holds a master degree in Business Administration from the FOM University of Applied Sciences, Berlin. He worked for HBM as a Chief Information Security Officer for 11 years. Since 2023 he has been a Senior Manager in the Corporate Security of the Lufthansa Group in the area of Cyber Security Regulations. He has more than 15 years of experience in information security, working at both national and international levels. He joined the “Chair of Mobile Business & Multilateral Security” as a PhD student in July 2017.
